Second Writers' Platform-Building Crusade
Rachael Harrie at Rach Writes is running the Second Writers' Platform-Building Crusade
Now don't give me that blank look!
In Rachael's words:
Basically, the Crusade is a way to link those within the writing community together with the aim of helping to build our online platforms. The Crusaders are all bloggers in a similar position, who genuinely want to pay it forward, make connections and friends within the writing community, and help build each others' online platforms while at the same time building theirs.
Well don't hang around here ... get yourself over to Rach Writes!

I read about it earlier. Wish it didn't coincide with the A to Z Challenge!
ReplyDeleteHi Alex
ReplyDeleteI popped over to Arlee's Blog to see what this A-Z is about, and noted that you are helping to run the show, so I understand your concern. However for everyone else, there is no reason why people should not tie the two in together. The primary purpose of the crusade is to encourage writers to support one another and to visit each others blogs. They can do that while supporting the A-Z challenge!
Hi Dom -
ReplyDeleteI checked it out, and it sounds like a great idea but I will be away for much of that time. Hard to say "unfortunately" for me, because we are going to Europe from mid-March to mid-April. Poor us, don't you think?
Seriously, I would have enjoyed the crusade, because I've been suffering from writer's block for almost a year. (Probably because I've had new health problems for the same length of time.) My blogging friends are great, but something like this might have been a seriously big help with my writer's block.
I'm glad to see Rachael says she'll be calling additional crusades in the future.

I'm in the A - Z challenge too. But I will read your post when you have it up.

Hi Dom,
ReplyDeleteI'll go check out Rach writes. Like Alex and Nancy I've also signed up to A to Z.
Thanks for popping over to mine earlier, I greatly appreciated and enjoyed your comments! ;)
I agree with you Dom.
ReplyDeleteI plan to do both. Hopefully it won't be too much of a problem. I asked Rach, and she hasn't gotten back to me yet.
Michael
This sounds wonderful! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteHey Dom, welcome on board the Crusade! I totally agree with your comment to Alex above, I'm planning to do both as well. And it's pretty cool the Crusade and the Challenge are both about platform-building! I'm looking forward to April already ;)
