You know ... that Blog?
Today's topic is Disclosure
This was a really hard subject this week - so I only have two for you!!

Nice Dom.

I really like the way the first one is worded!
ReplyDeleteNicely done. I like them both. The fellow in the second needs to pay a visit to the fellow in the first. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you do it! Both of them are so good and really capture what they are trying to express. That being said. I think the one about confession is my fave!
ReplyDeleteWith my history in the newspaper business, I have to like the second one best, but the first is quite poignant, Dom. Not, however, as poignant as "shackled to a shameful past"! At least the first haiku includes forgiveness following the disclosure, whereas the second implies none in the person's lifetime.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I played around with a story using different fonts. I used more than 50 font names, but couldn't come up with much of a plot.

ReplyDeletetwo very different, yet very much the same poems!
ReplyDeleteYou did well, even if the theme wasn't an easy one. I like to make us all think a little - whats the fun if they're too obvious or easy, right? Great takes on theme, well done!
ReplyDeleteI loved these. I would never have guessed you found the theme tough. They are brilliant. I wish I'd thought of those themes on the theme. :O)
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are excellent!
ReplyDeleteI do not know if my earlier comment has gone through.
ReplyDeleteJust to say that I liked both the Haiku's and the first out shined the second. Good Lord that one was excellent!! :)
